OUR RESEARCH
Our lab is focused on exploring the following questions:
(1) How are long-term patterns of behavior organized and regulated by the nervous system throughout the entire developmental trajectory?
(2) What are the underlying neuromodulatory mechanisms and environmental effectors that shape behavioral individuality across developmental timescales?
To study these fundamental questions, we combine longitudinal behavioral measurements of single individuals with genetic and molecular methods, neuronal imaging and optogenetics.

Multi-camera imaging setup for studying long-term behavior and individuality across the full development time of animals, at high spatiotemporal resolution and under controlled environmental conditions
